Re: LARGE VENDOR WHO HAD MULTIPLE TABLES

if you're thinking of buying MIB from this guy, a couple of things:

1) he has just about everything, so that's good (my purchases with him were decent)

2) talk him at least $20 down on prices, his prices them pretty darn high as the sticker price (all the larger mibs at $300-400)

3) take a good look at the figure itself before buying, it seems he repairs a lot of figures and then sticks a finished figure made of multiple junkers in the mib box, which isn't the end of the world, but at his prices I'd think 'MIB' should mean a mintish (c9) original figure, not a salvage job. some people don't mind this as much though, but good to know anyways.

Re: LARGE VENDOR WHO HAD MULTIPLE TABLES

This will be my first TF Con next month. So if I can ask, will it be common for someone to have at their table(s) something along the lines of the Alternators series or just who has what?

I hope someone has some Alts because I don't want to pay again what I paid for my Ravage off that auction site again this morning!

Thanks everyone!

Re: LARGE VENDOR WHO HAD MULTIPLE TABLES

There's no real way of telling who's going to have what at the Action Figure Expo or TFCon, but I wouldnt be at all surprised to see some alternators there. If you've already bought a ravage, you might just want to hang onto it, since there's no guarantee you'll get another one there.
