Re: Generations Devastator - More New Images Of Individual Constructicons

The bots modes are a bit lacking, but I do not find them that bad. What irks me more is the slim arms... the fac that the threads are not part of them.

The more images i see the less interested i am becoming. I don't know why I was expecting more. The individual figures seem rather poor by comparison to the combiner wars figures I have.
Perhaps the photos aren't doing them justice but I just don't see me getting him unless I'm blown away by seeing it first-person.

Re: Generations Devastator - More New Images Of Individual Constructicons

My problem with this set is it just doesn't feel like part of CWs to me. It feels like a combiner from a different line, I guess? All the other combiners are around the same mass and have similar heights, though that can be adjusted via joints, etc. And there's rumored to be tons in the pipeline, if you're collecting 'em, you're getting a shelf of them. I honestly would have been happier to pay a premium to get something ridiculously engineered to make them CW compatible deluxes. But alas, Devy is the hype now.

When did Devy get all hyped up, anyway? Back in G1 he was pretty much just another combiner. The first, sure, and the one everyone knows. But he was lined up against other combiners and won or lost on writer whims.

I like how it compares the MP1. That seems about right.
