When I tried showing the web page when trying to do a PM at Walmart, the cashier said it has to have a date on the page somewhere. There was no date.

Yep, so I take the flyer and have the page on my phone ready, and you phrase it like this:

"Hi, Toys R Us is having a sale this week (hand flyer) on Transformers which makes this Devastator guy (show phone) $132.92 right now, so I'm wondering if you can pricematch?".

They look at the phone for the price, the flyer for the dates, hemm and haw, but I've had good luck with it going through at that point.

That's why I bought it online today - Thursday August 20/15. And will call TRU Customer Service to adjust my billing IF the 30% off applies to DEVY

I actually already bought DEVY from Walmart but have not opened him cause I was waiting for him to come out in Costco. And I heard through the grapevine that he might not come out in Costco until October !!

That and according to the Costco Thread for DEVY on the boards, not all Costcos will be getting him.

May as well try my luck and see if I can get him for $132.90 vs hunting for him at Costco for $139.99.

anyone know how strict they are with the 45-day limit to price match? I bought some Voyagers at regular price on July 1. Would they consider that reasonably "close enough"? about a week over.
