Alright guys, below is the newest poster, along with reveals on the returning guests. Kinda obvious considering who is organizing this. :P
We are trying to figure out the table situation. Metropolis has 7 tables. We're trying to have a minimum of 12 for sure. More, if possible. Right now everything hinges on the tables and extra chairs, as we have some plans to help make selling easier. With the event taking place in the back area, we want to take full advantage of the space.
As Metrocon is a free event right now, admission and tables are free for this next event. But, this year, we are looking into letting people register ahead of time for a
full table by donation. Once things are worked out, you'll be able to go into Metropolis Comics and sign up ahead of time before the event to reserve a full table, with a minimum $10 donation (paid at Metrocon during sign in) that will go towards Children's Hospital. This will be geared towards those who have a lot of items to sell, and need a full table. You can also reserve a full table with a friend, and split the cost too, if you want to guarantee a spot.
For those who don't want to reserve, you can still get a table, at a first come, first serve basis, on the day of Metrocon. Free tables will be split into two sections, so each table is shared. Most people have been good about sharing, but we will be enforcing this rule this year, due to amount of tables available.
For the dealers and people selling, we will allow you guys in at least 30 minutes before the show to setup shop. This will be for both, people who have already reserved, and those who want a free spot. At that time, if anyone who wants a full table, and didn't reserve a head of time, can do so at the door with the same $10 minimum donation.
Doors this year will open at 4pm for everyone else. Yes, we will make people line up.
