Nothing Amazon says is ever a promise. Until it shows up on your doorstep and you open the package to find the intact product you ordered, expect nothing.

Most likely just a poor CSR who is tired of being asked about when the Coneheads are coming. Much easier to give a date and have some peace and quiet for a couple of months.

Yeah, I'm not surprised at another deadline not met and another delay. I think they did all they could do, a bit of credit towards a future purchase, and now, I just have to ride it out. Either it comes or it doesn't. It's not like I had or have any other choice.

I get the feeling some of these exclusives will get a mainline re-released in the future.

I would honestly just like a comment from Hasbro on this. As discussed in that other thread the design team had no idea it was an issue, not being released in some international markets at all. When Omega Supreme, Jetfire and Scorponoks were getting scarce they instantly said they were doing second production runs which kept their prices reasonable. I can only conclude that something happened at the distributor level now.


Also dont put it past these distributors from with holding stock, causing the price to go up then selling it as a third party. One distributor got caught by Hasbro doing this with Magic The Gathering cards and now they are no longer distributing Hasbro products.
