That happened with my Botropolis pack from Amazon. At this point I give up, since these companies have dinguses in their shipping departments that just don't give a damn.

"Shouldn't you box it up or wrap it?"
"Nah, it'll be fine."

I once ordered a G1 Reissue Devastator from Walmart.ca that arrived wrapped in a garbage bag, so that was marginally better. Still returned it though because on principle that pissed me off.

Also got devastator from Walmart that arrived damaged but it was on sale $120. Still went and bought a second at Toysrus for full price then returned the Walmart one to Toysrus. Don't feel guilty in the slightest.

Hold on, let me fix that for you.

Oh come on. Name another company that gives their workers a wage cage... I mean... um... Zen booths to show how much they care as they work you to the bone until you quit, you die, or they discard you?

All so the head honcho can do this.

I 100% understand your logic but in the process, you're having TRU pay for Walmart's shitty shipping services. Which imo teaches a lesson to no one.

All the big corporations have let me down at some point. Walmart, Toysrus, Amazon. Gotta look out for number one. Teaching lessons takes a back seat lol.

Corporations aren't your friend. Take whatever you can from them.

Re: Walmart.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion

Came home from getting groceries to find my Slag on the doorstep.

It came in the hasbro factory-packed case, just with one Slag taken out and Walmart shipping labels slapped on he outside and it taped back up.

Funnily enough in spite of the character name change to Slug for decency reasons, the Hasbro box itself identifies the piece as "Tra Gen Studio Series LDR 86 Slag n Dani"

The figure's box itself is slightly crumpled/dinged in a corner, but since I already have it out of the box to fiddle with I'm not too worried. I keep my boxes in case I want to resell complete with packaging, but it's already not MISB so chances are anyone interested in buying it at this stage isn't going to care about a little box damage. If I ever even planned on selling to begin with.

As for the Slag itself, one of his knees doesn't ratchet the way its supposed to, which seems like a common issue with these SS86 Dinobots as my Grimlock has an elbow that doesn't ratchet either. So the joint is a bit loose and mildly floppy. If I find it's an issue in terms of standing up I'll just hit it with some Pledge and go from there. I'm not sending it back for a fresh one given the state of actually obtaining most Transformers right now.
