Takara Tomy Transformers Kingdom Voyager Rhinox Official In-Hand Images
The official Takara Tomy Transformers Twitter have uploaded our first in-hand images of the*Transformers Kingdom Voyager Rhinox*figure. KD-13 Rhinox will be released by Takara Tomy in Japan by October this year. The new images show the final color of this figure, the robot mode front and back and how you can storage his guns. Additionally, we have 2 shots of the beast mode, one of them showing Rhinox’s underbelly. I need some comparisons with the T30, im finding it hard to want to pick this one up.
Even with the T30's flaws it still feels like the better mold than Kingdom.

Yeah I've got the T30 from the old days, I remember being FLOORED by it
This so far, is not flooring me
Granted, I knew a lot less about things back then, so it's possible I overlooked some glaring flaws for "SO WOW AND RHINOX"
...but I don't think so

The hips not locking in any particular is honestly the only significant flaw with the T30 toy. I don't get the choice of head design; i really dislike the fake rhino lower jaw under his beast mode. I don't like the spotting. I don't like the CGOD as much.
T30 basically transformed like his show model. Rhinox was certainly among the least "cheaty" of the cgi models.

I am going back and forth on this one. I like the T30 toy a lot other than the loose knees. This guy looks decent too, but as everyone has pointed out his head looks off. I also don't like his flat chain guns.
For me, it will probably come down to if he fits much better with the other Beast Wars Kingdom figures than the T30 version.
The Kingdom figures have generally been good, so the fact Rhinox doesn't quite stack up is a little annoying. Galvatron is my only other real nitpick of the figures I was looking at and I think I've gotten to the point of passing on him (but that's another topic).
