I keep these rivalries just for my own purposes, so figures are squared off against each other.

Optimus Prime VS Megatron
Ultra Magnus VS Shockwave
Bumblebee/Hotshot VS Starscream
Rodimus VS Galvatron
Dinobots VS Predacons
Blaster VS Soundwave
Aerialbots VS Stunticons
Metroplex VS Trypticon
Primus VS Unicron
Fortress Maximus VS Scorponok
Optimus Primal VS Megatron
Cheetor VS Waspinator
Rhinox VS Tarantulas
Vector Prime VS The Fallen

But that's all just my personal opinion.And for comedic purposes, Galvatron VS the Sweeps.

I'd like to believe it was more than Unicron's programming, but you bring up a good issue.

When Galvatron was 'cured' of his therapy, the only Autobot he names is Ultra Magnus.
I like to think Galvatron had 2 natural rivals:

Rodimus Prime - Cause he's the leader and he defeated him on Unicron, possibly in Galvatron's last moments of sanity

Ultra Magnus - Cause he came back after Galvatron had him destroyed and he didn't flee from cowardice. Galvatron even acknowledges he's not a coward in Fight or Flee. This could be the biggest reason Galvatron considered Magnus as his #1 rival, cause he respected him.
