Yeah, I think I might just do that instead. I'll keep the minifigs but I'll use the pieces to build on my Kreon combiners, hehe. I should stop having to use my friends lego pieces. Haha.

Just signed the last documents for the sale of our condo in Steveston.

Pocketing $40K in the end so kinda win and lose.

Hmmm...if only there was something I really wanted that I could blow the money on.

Perhaps I should get my wife to clarify what she meant by "...over my dead body!!!"

OK...no surprise but wifey ex-nayed the Camaro but I am allowed to "treat myself". So I need your help to fill in the blanks on my Masterpiece shelf:

• Hasbro MP OP
• Hasbro MP Grimlock
• Henkei Bumblebee
• plus ??? (contenders are MP Rodimus or Sideswipe or Prowl

versus

• MP-11 Starscream
• Hasbro MP Thundercracker
• Hasbro MP Skywarp
• plus ??? (contenders are MP Soundwave or FT-03 Quakewave)

The zen-like collector in me says to wait for MP Jazz. The practical collector in me is leaning towards pre-ordering MP-17 Prowl and perhaps waiting for Hasbro MP Soundwave. The impatient fanboy in me wants to fill those holes fast with Quakewave and Rodimus or Sideswipe. Although MP Roddy is known to be the shits so Sideswipe is preferred but he's incomplete (IMO) without a proper MP Sunstreaker.

Thoughts?

I'd say go with Prowl. It's going to be awhile when and if we get word of MP Jazz as we still have to go through the three Datsuns, and that's a big if.

And why "treat yourself" to Rodimus or Sideswipe if you're going to feel unwholesome about it. Personally, i'd skip Quakewave because I want my Masterpiece figures all Takara.

^Yeah...Quakewave would have been my first Third Party piece and my biggest reservation at getting him is that he's unofficial.

I haven't quite jumped on Prowl because I know the douchebag completist in me will likely want Smokescreen and Bluestreak in the end (like how I went with being "OK" with just MP-11 to hunting down TC and SW in just a matter of days). Then I'd have to bolster my MP Decepticon ranks to match which means $$$ (and I might as well have bought that gas guzzling V8 Camaro).

I guess I'll zen it out and pickup Hasbro MP Soundwave (hopefully not at scalper prices this time around) and hope for MP Jazz, because even toy Porsches are sexy.
