Re: Ages 3 & Up Pre-Order Limbo

In all my years of dealing with A3U, I have never had issues.

Even the OP of this thread has rescinded the original concern.

I have noticed that oftentimes, it seems like A3U gets a shipment in, posts some pics on FB, and then fulfills preorders and offers surplus to in-store clients (only/first).

They are legit. I haven't heard of anyone being scammed by them, or ever losing out on any money. I have always known them to be upfront on known delays, and fairly accurate on stock -- also good with noting if one will be pre-order from a 1st shipment or 2nd shipment.

Ok so the TL;DR of this whole thread is basically they are very very reliable but at times a little slow to get some product. Case closed. NEXT

Re: Ages 3 & Up Pre-Order Limbo

Just to further clarify the pattern of what happens sometimes. If you live in Vancouver, you're able to pick up your pre-ordered items one piece at a time as they show up in store.

I ordered a bunch of the kingdom and studio series stuff from them and I'd get one figure here, two figures there, etc., until my order was fulfilled. This happened over a period of time, and yes, on occasion, I'd see the item in store before it came in for my pre-order.

Obviously, they can't offer the same service with items they're going to ship.

Re: Ages 3 & Up Pre-Order Limbo

Local pick-up is always a nice option.

The "worst" I've had from A3U is them forgetting to send me an e-mail saying I had an order ready for pick-up for some time after I'd paid off the invoice. Minor quibbles.

They're a good group.

Issues with them lately getting back to emails and plain old not reading my questions or acting on them as they have in the past. Not sure if i'll continue to use them in the future.
