Re: Adult Lego Fans

New LEGO store/site special is a 'flashback' Shredder minifigure if you spend $75. Kinda cool. Young Oroku Saki, basically.

I'm going to buy the Sopwith Camel sooner than later. Seeing if my local store gets any in this week, buying online if they don't. The set has be to retiring soon and I'm going to kick myself if I pass it up!

Re: Adult Lego Fans

Hmm, my local Edmonton lego store says they don't expect to get the Sopwith Camel back on the shelves. So I pulled the trigger today from the website. Threw in the Karai Motorcycle set from TMNT... now I have $25 in VIP points to get the Cap/Red Skull set. ^^

The Sopwith is a great set. The design is so cool with the driving controls moving the fins and stuff. You should pick up the mini Sopwith too. Would look cool next to it.

I do have the mini Sopwith! ... in a bag in the bin, somewhere. I also have the biplane that came in the Pharaohs' Quest sets.

Also, I have a complete set of Simpsons minifigs I'm selling off. Basically just looking to get my money back and save people the work of feeling out the packages.

They're really well done, but the heads aren't working for me. They look like regular action figure heads, not Lego heads. Even the molded heads of the Ninja Turtles, or Buzz and Woody, still have this 'lego-fied' feel to them. Just me though.

Re: Adult Lego Fans

So I had my nephews over this past weekend to help my wife and I build our Lego collection now that we're in our new house. This is part of what we built.

I'll post more pics probably next week as we're currently getting ready for our house warming this weekend.

Pure awesomeness. I see you have two AT-STs there. But the endor base set only comes with one I thought? I bought that same AT-ST separately from Bricklink. It's the best design out so far. Btw, the Ewok village looks amazing!

Ya we had one Endor Bunker set and then I bought a partial Endor bunker set which had the ATST and the bunker. So I combined the two bunkers and then did the same with two Ewok Villages. We're all very happy with the way the village turned out. It now looks like a proper village in towering trees.

My youngest nephew (10 years old) built the tall tree tower that's sitting on the lower platform and I have to be the proud uncle and say he did a fantastic job with it.

One more pic to see the village better.

Re: Adult Lego Fans

How did you attach the pic that way, so that only the thumbnail appears?

Looks amazing btw.
