Re: EBgames.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion

FYI

762204 is called Galvatron and will be $73 no preorder
762717 is the Haslab exclusive 2 thing for $105, this you can preorder.

Can we assume 717 is Ravage? an extremely expensive Ravage? or is this something new? It is not Galvatron.

Ravage is 52.99 on pulse, that would be a shocking price even for an overpriced set.

With how much Hasbro marks up prices in Canada, I would not be surprised. The exchange is under 25% but we pay over 50% more for a figure than the US does.

Re: EBgames.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion

anyone thinking EB>Gamestop change is a good thing .......

They are going to spend millions rebranding. Stores will be closed for weeks. No we will not get any better access to anything, its just a name. Eb would have gotten any new website upgrade Gamestop would have gotten regardless. And thats assuming an updated website would even be better. Ask ToysRUs how their website "upgrade" went. Their new site is garbage.

It’s the re-release of the multi-color Reflector

Yeah, this just seems like Gamestop trying to scramble to add some actual value to their company so that when they are reassessed their stock doesn't plummet when they discover that the value is inflated.

Or they're gearing up to do another Target and run off with millions in unpaid taxes when they claim bankruptcy.

Why would they reissue something from Siege that can still be found in TRUs even after all this time? AKA there is no longer a desire for it.

I'm pretty sure I haven't seen that 3-pack at any TRUs I've passed by for the last while, unless people are just that apathetic about the trio where you are.

I did at one point but they're long gone AFAIK.

OT: If anyone is (still) looking for Red Alert, try camping the store stock locator page to reserve any copies you see at (nearby/close enough) stores for pick-up. I got lucky a week or so back and reserved/grabbed the lone Red Alert that got sent to Metrotown EB Games, so yeah.

Re: EBgames.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion

Some of the small independent retailers have that Reflektor 3-pack up for pre-order.

I can't see TRU getting more in, as people said, they had to discount them pretty hard before they finally left the shelves.
