I really like the fact that they include characters from different generations in the same set. Very nice homage to the brand.

Yes, if the difference is the same as the one with Prowl.
The Legends figures sold separately have the red/purple faction symbols with white borders, while the ones packaged with the other figures have the gold/silver faction symbols.

So after I lot my cool on the post above, I went out and bought the last four from Heartland Walmart.
I love these little guys, especially Bumblebee. I thought I would like Beachcomber more, but BB slips by just a titch.
Brawn is also awesome, but the face isn't quite right and Starscream has a really long neck and his face is just out there in vehicle mode.
