Sometimes guests that get added to conventions are legitimatly last minute deals.

For instance last year Calgary added Edward James Olsmos like two days before their Con because he was filming something in the area.

C4 got lucky in the same way in 2008 with Levar Burton.

Now the McNeil and Chalk thing is goofy because they had them up on their panel list for a couple weeks before they put them on their guest list.

In short, they screwed up.

Re: Canadian Slag Episode 30 - Full Discharge

Very fun episode.

My favorite Transformers name, as pointed out to me by Dak: Buckethead!

G1 Swerve is actually a character I wanted as a kid but could never find. I like that Gears mold a lot and really enjoyed the upgrades(of sorts) that they made with the g1 Swerve.

I finally got me a G1 Swerve last year and still think its all kinds of awesome.

As for the GM Swerve, I think mad amounts of credit go to the many Cybertron.ca members who helped out people that they hardly know in obtaining the figure.

Mine came from jacobot(much thanks again AFN brother), but I had offers from several folks and very much appreciated the thoughts coming my way.

So cudos to everyone who tried to hook up another Transformers fan with these on the cheap. You all deserve mucho recognition.

Great show!

Re: Canadian Slag Episode 30 - Full Discharge

My belief was always that he was the first "Dinobot" and when Primal shared his spark with Prime Dinobot's tale was passed on...it was because of his heroic actions that when Grimlock, Slag, and Sludge were built, he called them the Dinobots....a stretch I know but I like it :P
