Kingdom Rodimus' Leg Wheels

Anybody got problems with transforming Rodimus back wheels? I have a heck of a time inserting his back wheels into his legs. Even after pushing and clicking the wheels into the fender part, I have to bend the black plastic open to get the wheel assembly past the pinned hinges and into the groove on the other side. It's worrying how there's basically no clearance unless you force it.

Same here. I also saw at least one review that mentioned it.

Re: Kingdom Rodimus' Leg Wheels

While I don't own the figure I've seen a couple of reviews online. They all seem to be doing the whole "mashing" in the wheels upon transformation to bot mode.

That would lead one to think that transforming back to alt mode (as what was initially described above) would lead to possible stressing or cracks in the plastic from difficulty moving the wheels back. However, on TFW2005's review page (11 or 12 pages deep) there hasn't been any reports of breakages.

I realize this doesn't fully answer the ops Q, but hopefully it helps give some insight that it should be alright to slightly force the wheel back to car mode from the legs.

Seriously, for that price and what it is, it should be freaking flawless and darn closer to it than it is.

For leader pricing of 80$ sure, I could see cheap labor and lack of quality control as they spit them out.

People have to stop making excuses... example: I wouldn't buy a real car with speakers that don't always work right or trunk latch release that sticks and gives me trouble getting it open without bitching and going back to the dealership to get those things fixed... minor things to some maybe, but I wouldn't expect there to be issues.

Sure, it's a toy, but for over a hundred dollars for such a figure that to me doesn't even quality as a commander class, I didn't make any for the flaws that the other two have that at least gives the impression of being a bit more worth it (I don't consider the 120$ price to be truly worth it for the class in general), I sure ain't going to excuse any on this one.

Re: Kingdom Rodimus' Leg Wheels

I paid 95$, and it still felt like too much. I need to paint the wheels :/. Fantastic robot mode, though.

For the trailer, a dab of plege and it stays closed just fine. Easy peasy.

Re: Kingdom Rodimus' Leg Wheels

Mine closes just fine without the cannon. With it, you have to make sure the peg is in fully at the bottom, that the blast shields are folded up, and that the cannon barrels are plugged into both the black base of the cannon itself and the red roof. Then it's no problem.
