Re: My Tfsource collector interview
That was a great interview! Also, nice to meet the man behind the camera. I too sold off a near complete collection of G1 toys. I was in my teens and the pittance I sold them for went primarily to alcohol. Over the years, I forced myself not to think about it, but relatives would remind me now and again.
Then, in about 2005, I discovered Binaltech and it was "on". I am happy to say that I have recovered all but 2 of the G1 toys that I liked best (the two are Mirage and Wheeljack) and have enjoyed some of the more recent lines i.e., Animated, Masterpiece and "Classics" (for me classics describes similarly sized classics, universe, united and generations).
Anyways, really enjoy your postings. Keep 'em coming.

Re: My Tfsource collector interview
I'm pretty sure most of us here had gone and sold off our toys when we were teenagers/young kids. I never got any allowance when I was a kid, so when I wanted a new toy outside of my birthday or Christmas, I would sell off some of my old stuff to put towards the new toys. I of course being a stupid kid, sold most of my toys for a couple of bucks each and my parents never once tried to persuade me to charge more.
Sadly this is the fate that befell every one of my TFs (excluding TM Rampage), my Gameboy. Gamboy Colour and my games.
I'm glad to say that I'm well on my way to rebuilding my Beast Wars collection (I actually have more Beasts than I ever did growing up)

Re: My Tfsource collector interview
Oddly enough, one of the rarest things there (not the most EXPENSIVE, but limited) is that TFcon 2005 exclusive lithograph poster from Dreamwave. Only about 50 really got out there.
