I love that TitansReturn's NA retail release titan masters are:
- a tiny dude
- an interchangeably-attachable head to all higher-size-class TR figs
- packed with a triple-changing vehicle
- the tiny dudes can either ride one of the triple-changing vehicle's modes, or integrate into the other two modes
- one of the triple-changing vehicle's modes is a handheld weapon/accessory for all higher-size-class TR figs
And for (what did they retail for, again), like eight bucks at most, apiece?
So much play value, it's f*ckin bananas

I loved the attention to the size and detail of the plane/jet figures in the Titans Return line. For me they are close to a perfect size for an appx. 1:72 scale plane and the transformation into the Alt modes is done with an acceptable amount of kibble to keep the design aerodynamic and swift.

First Edition Voyager Prime has a steering wheel and central console molded to the interior of his cab! You can see it by stopping mid transformation. Normally it?s hidden inside the toy but it is there! Absolutely brilliant.

I love the dry brushing detail applied to Studio Series AOE grimlock. Just takes the look to a whole new level, and for that reason I'm looking forward to the reissue of the Leader Shockwave next year because that thing is gorgeous.

Re: What is a detail from a Transformer toy, show or media that you love?
I liked that the original G1 toys were showcased in their packaging in Alt-mode. I feel that inspired more imagination -- especially when only able to peruse in the store with the parents.
I feel that modern offerings don't have the same appeal as they are mostly packaged to display as robots (when they actually are visible). One robot looks so similar to the one beside it. With the original G1s, there was a truck next to a plane, next to a tank, next to a car, next to a gun, etc... They seemed so much more unique and interesting.
