Ss scrapheap release date got bumped up to today

Picked up Tigerhawk and Windblade at Gamestop in Sherbrooke yesterday.

According to the website Gamer Voyager Starscream, Voyager Scrapheap and Core Mohawk were all bumped to an early street date of December 29th and Starscream and Mohawk are currently in stock on the site.

My wallet sits in fear, awaiting a potential release of Concept Megs since he would be the leader class of that wave.

Apparently the new loyalty program news is expected mid-January. Word is that current members can either opt-in to the new program at an equivalent level, or keep their current benefits until they expire in 2024.

One reason for the change is supposedly that the discounts were costing them too much. I think employees already get a similar discount, and sales are usually more than 10%, so I feel that doesn't totally track. Plus Onyx members would have spent much more just to start getting the discount, and the discount itself doesn't apply to everything.

The other edge "benefits" are negligible, so I think the biggest change we'll see in the "new" program is a reduction (or elimination) of the discount.

If thats the case I will miss my 15%. That savings and bonus trade credit has saved me a lot on these things as well as Marvel Legends, Pokemon cards and other anime products over the last few years.

If that is the case, I think I will start using Amazon more.



Although I plan on pre-ordering/buying less in general due to the prices.
