Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

There was a place at The Crystal Mall in Burnaby that had G1 KOs a while ago. (Toy Planet?).

I've dealt with this iOffer seller for G1 KOs and I've always been happy.

isnt the charge legit because of the mere fact the toy CAN use batteries?

Yeah he's expensive, but I went to Landsdown today to pick one up after the sightings, and the cashier there said the sold five today, leaving only four.

I'll wait for a sale, if I can even afford him then.

Because of the "ZOMGGOTTAHAVEITASAFP" syndrome some collectors have. And the scalper factor.

For some yes, but it seems like many TF collectors have a bit more dough to throw around (or going into credit card debt or choosing not to eat/pay rent for the month). Just look at how many people are snapping up third party combiners at $450-500 a pop. Metroplex seems like a "cheaper" item.

On a positive and reasonable sense I believe collectors are buying them as soon as it drops thinking it will help set a good record of sales for the new Titan class which means Hasbro will continue with the line and give us something like say..
Trypticon! I think this was touched upon during the announcement of Metroplex.
