I've had to do some major finagling of plans and work schedules but I'll be there. I wasn't planning on early birding but with FP Core there I might just have to finish what I need to do in town as early as possible to be there for 11.

Hey, does anyone here have the Nexus 4? Google did a price drop on them a couple of days ago and i'm thinking of grabbing one, was wondering what people thought.

I know. I have one that I bought from Google play last Nov. All I can say is I love it. The construction is very solid (It's made in Korea) and doesn't feel as flimsy/plastic-y as Galaxy S3/4. It's all Android (mine's running 4.3 now) so you get instant update on everything and not having to wait for update from other manufacturers and network. It autosynchs to gmail and google+, and google chrome browser you use on your PC.

No LTE but apparently it was built-in but only deactivated. I don't care about that much though.

Highly understated and highly recommended!

I too can vouch for the Nexus 4. Had one since March and I love it.

Thanks Darth and SAAM. I don't much care for LTE either. I guess my only concern is that it's almost a year old now but then again i don't really need to have the most cutting edge technology on my phone.

I have LTE on my Sony phone and I like it, seems really fast, but then the hardware is such a huge upgrade over my old one it could just be that. I'm on Rogers so there's no extra charge for LTE, all plans are enabled for it as long as your hardware supports it. When there's no LTE coverage it reverts to 4G.

It's still one of the best phone out there, especially since it's unlocked. And at the new low price it's a killer deal.

Yup I am for sure going and will have a dealer table there as well selling all kinds of stuff.

Kirbenvost and I have the same phone and speaking for myself, LTE is excellent if you can get it. I can usually download and cruise the internet on my phone faster than my home computer most of the time. That being said, you need to like the phone more than what it offers. There are better phones out there than the one I own spec-wise, but I like mine more and that is the most important part.
