This! I know I'm an old fart, but I remember as a kid being able to walk into a toy store and seeing reams of transformers I only dreamed of owning and being grateful to get one from my parents. It was magical. I wonder what kids think now, compared to us jaded adults...

Same here.. both for TF and G.I.Joe ... And I still hold a special place in my heart for Consumers Distributing and their catalogues.. i would fawn over that thing for all the toys I would never be able to have...

Remember having to save up for months to get one you wanted and it stayed on the shelf all that time?
I did that with Grapple (4 months) and Motormaster (2 months) (summer was better for business). Had to mow more lawns in that time than most kids now ever do.
