I think the bigger concern is that the seller gets some amount of your personal info. Name, an address that may or may not be your home one, credit card info, etc.


It's not enough for them to go and wreck your life right away, but it's sketchy as hell and could theoretically lead somewhere bad.

I sort of get this idea, but on the other hand if amazon allows this level of scamming to take place on its site in the first place then they kinda get what is coming for them. Look at how Ebay.

Different perspectives.

Scamming Amazon for someone else's scam doesn't quite seem right.

At the same time, people need to call out these scams by such method through Amazon so that the scammy sellers can be handled so that people who may be less aware won't be scammed.

At least UsernamePrime is aware and confident of handling any potential fallout. Other less-suspecting and less-"aggressive" victims may get suckered out of more... much more than meets the eye.

I can see different sides. All valid perspectives.
