Question about Battle Beasts/Beastformers

Just curious if there was any assigned rub symbol to certain figures

Example: Horny Toad = Water, Rubberneck Giraffe = Wood

Or was it completly random?

Also does anyone know what characters appeared on screen in Transformers: Headmasters (I'm looking at you Protoman...)

Cheers!

Re: Question about Battle Beasts/Beastformers

All 3, according to the 1st series marketing "Collect all 84!"
As there were only 28 molds, 28 x 3= 84.

Psht...Pro-to-man...

According to the Ark compendium Battle Beasts that made an appearance in Headmasters:
White Leo
Hedgehog
Goldar
Big Serow
Yellow Giraffe
Elephan
Flykick
B-Fox
Battle Bear
Rabbit Kid
Alligatron
Devilbat
Killer Fish
Snake Bomb
Drillfrog

Finally no toys were made for them but Dogslave and Tekna also had appearances on Headmasters.

Re: Question about Battle Beasts/Beastformers

Good point! although I believe that was after the 1st series. Was it applied to all the molds or just a few like Leo?
And was it Japan-only?

(Protoman we need you! )

i thought there was only 1 character with the sunburst symbol, and he only came with a certain japanese set.(harder to find than the japanese gumball versions)
but the regular symbols were all random, the same character can sport different sumbols, adding to the collectability/trading aspect of it all.

Waters beat Fires since they extinguishes them.

Fires beat Woods because they burn them to ashes.

Woods beat Waters because they float on top, gaining the high ground and a +1 to agility.

Destrons beat everyone because they have frickin lasers.

Cybertrons beat Destrons because in the end good will always triumph over evil, and the Matrix does funky stuff when needed.

You know, with all of the collectible card games and micro battle stuff these days I'm surprised we haven't seen a re-release of all the old Battle Beasts.

That is a very good point. BattleBeasts should totally own Pokeman.
