I love the Predacons... I have them all! from Ultimate Predaking, the voyagers and deluxes! they are fantastic looking beasts!!

as for all others... I shall not be buying them.
(purchasing wheeljack and soundwave was a mistake )

I got Wheeljack because I wanted all the versions of the PRID Wheeljack mold, but it's clearly the weakest of them all and the Weakest of my few BH purchases.

Re: Beast Hunters: Worst Line Ever?

To each their own I suppose. I personally enjoy the Beast Hunters stuff much, much more than the PRiD stuff. I like the odd colours, crazy remolds, whacky weapons and how it's just different. I do mostly leave my BH deluxe and over purchases to sales or dry periods, though, since there's so much Generations stuff to get and actual life priorities.

If anything I think the line lacks a core theme. It should really have played up the hunters part of the name and make bigger use of the capture tools that a lot of the remolds have. It would have been a great way to bring in those Arms Micron molds and recapture the fun of the Jurassic Park toyline.

Kinda wish Arcee's hunter weapon wasn't so huge, she can't hold it up! Looks cool attached to the motorcycle mode though.

Bought Ratchet today. pretty solid toy actually, enjoy the transformation. But seriously I'm pretty sure the hatch of the truck/backpack is designed to specifically look like Dinobot II's. It's an insane, inexplicable homage and I love it.

Re: Beast Hunters: Worst Line Ever?

In my opinion, it is one of the worst line. They look more like monsters than robots. I cannot name a line that's worst than this one, even the Movie line and Animated line is better than this line. I have a BH Shockwave, and nothing else in the Prime and BH line. I have 0 interest in any of them. Yes, I am very extreme....

I like the dragons and don't hate everything else, but like everything its all relative. Unfortunately our opinions are probably irrelevant for future product direction, what will matter are the final sales figures.

Re: Beast Hunters: Worst Line Ever?

I don't know about worst line ever but definitely bottom 3. Not fussy about most DOTM figures and none of BM at all. I bought all the Predacons in one incarnation or another. Didn't like the Voyager Optimus but he grew on me (thanks mcmus). I won't touch any other main characters beyond Shockwave and Smokescreeen and that is only because you can at least remove the "beast hunter" properties. IMO the biggest disappointment was the cyberverse line from it particularly Abominus. Damn plastic crack addictions
