my previous non-transformers related pre-order items got cancelled before, stating it was no longer available (even though it was still available in stores a few weeks after)

So TRU can basically do whatever they want. fulfil or cancel, it is all up in the air.

I hope everyone gets their pre-order fulfilled. If they do have enough supply for it, there would be a resulting over-abundance of MP SWs mostly held by "scalpers", and maybe that could drive down the price for anyone that didn't get a pre-order in.

Cancellation would definitely be disappointing. It certainly doesn't seem to be "right" that the stores being supplied (already) if they are not going to be able to fulfill the preOrders.

I sent a couple emails last week about the Hasbro25PD to TRU.ca and got no reply. I called in today as my order was for 3 Soundwaves and 3 Acidstorms and told the lady if you had the chance to save 25% off of a $600.00 order wouldn't you do everything in your power to make that happen.

She told me how much she agreed with that statement and made it happen

I'm so happy now. I know some people were mentioning 25% not being that much but being stretched over a bunch of figures it added up.

OH Sh*T all this money I saved is coming out of my SHOES!!!

Ok, after I seen you guys called and succeeded on getting the discount. I just called in myself... and the guy told me discount was ALREADY applied to my orders and I will get credit when the items get shipped. I sent the email last week, but I never get a reply back... So as long as you sent in your email, you don't need to wait for a reply or anything, the TRU credit department will do the work....... So don't worry guys as long as you already made a preorder and sent in your email

I receivied an e-mail back last night that my order was corrected with the coupon. However this was only after my first try was denied for a silly reason, and I e-mailed them back a second time complaining.

In the end I managed to save some money, so I'm happy.

You mean they didn't limit it to one of each? No wonder it sold out so fast.

There were 3 instances of the preorder that I saw go up (but could not react fast enough on). The first was UNLIMITED. I actually heard of some guys preordering 10 units at that time. The 2nd and 3rd times I saw them up, they were limit of 3 each.

You'd think, being a computer guy, I'd be fast on the keyboard... obviously not so much.
