Re: Wow - new Bruitics?
I've been thinking - ok i mused about it while i was pretending to pretend to work, we as humans come in all different heights etc - and we know the bots do as well -but why should all the gestalts be similar in height? Some could be bigger than others -specifically lets say Bruticus vs Menasor. Menasor is made up of all cars and a rig while Bruticus - all military vehicles. Surely the military vehicles when combined would make a bigger bot?

Re: Wow - new Bruitics?
i think people are looking for the scale on the shows/comics. i like to have deluxes the same size as deluxes from different series, i think most people prefer gestalts the same as well. as for menasor, the fp motormaster is what makes the combiner so big. one of the the reasons i picked up the maketoys devy, other than because it looks so damn good is because i loved the scale when you put him beside my chug figures.

Re: Wow - new Bruitics?
I want to call them out on their name. "Warbotron" is a little too close to "Warbot". Almost like they're trying to confuse buyers into thinking this is a FansProject product.
But I've got to say, kudos on not putting out some stupid teaser silhouettes over the course of half a year and then teasing with blurred prototype images the other half like some 3rd party companies would do! And the products themselves look absolutely amazing!
Although 2 criticisms right off the bat. First, the overall aesthetic of them looks a little derivative in design. I see a little of FP's Crossfire here. A little TF Herc there. But it's not too bad. You know, there's only so much you can do with the same source material. And if something works, why mess with it?
Second, I just wish when combined, the chest piece was up a little higher as to cover Onslaughts windows. It just looks bad seeing those windows. It's like he's spilling out of his bra.
But I'm excited for these guys. And I can see some repaint potential in these guys. And not just the obvious recolors. With just little remolding, I can see these done as some other G1 characters who sorely need new toys.
