I think it says something when the reactions for Jetfire and Sky-Lynx were much more positive. Obviously not universal, but so far there was more positivity for those releases than what we are seeing so far with Rodimus Prime.

If WFC leader class has been meh, both previous commanders were FUCK YEAH. I was more than happy to pay full price (I got one on sale but point stands). Felt well worth the price of admission. Big, wonderful, detailed, fun, lots to do, and fanservice-y in the right ways. Prefer Bandai style? Do it! Want toon style! Do it! Just wonderful toys.

Yep they are things of beauty, and amazing updates.

Rodimus just doesn't ellict that same response, at least from me. Maybe in person it will be different.

I know it seems like a little thing, but man those unpainted wheels really makes it feel cheap, which is not a good thing for something at this price point.

Ick. When I saw that blurry picture of the "cab" mode a few days ago I assumed that the spoiler could be moved forward a bit for when you combined it with the trailer. Instead, it looks like they just had the car barely go into the trailer at all, instead sticking out in a way that's both ugly and show-inaccurate. Aside from that, the car/robot component is barely any different from any of the much cheaper Hot Rod toys we've already gotten, and the only real play feature on the trailer is the cannon.

I'm glad I've got the Titanium version, 'cause I'm not touching this overpriced monstrosity with a three-metre pole.

I’ve got the Titanium and the FP Protector armour. I alternate them in my G1 display, I think I’ll keep doing that.

Well it cannot be to niche... has to appeal to a wider audience and/or be relevant in the current WFC series. They going to play it safe with commander classes. The only one I can really think that work is the dragon megatron. I can see why they would change up what a commander class is going forward.
