Speaking of Dinobot, I damaged his spring loaded missile/sword tail thing already. I stored the missile/sword in his tail while in Dino mode, it fired. Now, it's been "mute" ever since.

Re: How do store your spring loaded missiles?
i just keep em all in a bag easiest way. but, if you have a large collection then dam it's gonna be hard to identify which missile goes to which bot.

Re: How do store your spring loaded missiles?
I keep them armed when on dislpay, bagged and tagged when in storage. Never thought about spring dmg tho. Perhaps I must change my ways.

Re: How do store your spring loaded missiles?
I keep them all in a large box and I have parts recognition pics on my computer for the ones that are really difficult to tell apart

Re: How do store your spring loaded missiles?
Personally unless it's crucial to the figure to have their missiles displayed with them, I usually keep my weapons in individual poly bags that are labled with who they belong to.
I know that seems pretty anal, but after 13 years of collecting from various lines and throwing everything into a large bin, I learned my lesson. It made life miserable whenever I tried to find something to sell. It took me at least a week to sort everything out when I finally got around to it.
Cheers!

Re: How do store your spring loaded missiles?
Unless the spring is deformed beyond its elastic limit, storing the missiles loaded will have no detrimental effects on the spring. And if loading the missile deforms the spring beyond its elastic limit, it wouldn't really work in the first place, as it would fire with less energy than it took to load the missile, and less energy every time you fired it.

Re: How do store your spring loaded missiles?
I keep them loaded and ready to fire. If they ever come to life like in Toy Story or Small Soliders I want to make sure all to have a fighting chance.
Also, I hate the gimmick, so if I kill the spring it is really no big deal.
