I’m confused about people being called about cancelled MPM-12 preorders. My order was canceled and in the email it said they would honour the preorder price if I managed to find one in a store. They never said anything about calling me. So I think I’m on my own. Anyone know why my situation is different?

there were couple email on the matter, the cancellation notice is what you talking about but they also send out an earlier notice.

"Due to a system error outside of our control, we regret to inform you that you will be receiving a cancelation email within the next 48 hours. The good news is that we are still able to honour the terms of this presell if you are interested. Once the product arrives at our Stores, we will be in touch to offer you an opportunity to re-purchase. Please note that due to a manufacturer delay, your item will not be arriving until late August. We will be in touch with you at that time."

TRU's site has a weird issue where it automatically cancels orders when the release date is passed. And since they can't recreate the cancelled orders, they ship the items to the nearest store for pickup and payment in store.

Thanks! Yeah I got all the emails but I assumed you had to do something special in order to get them to call you. But I just received the call from my local TRU. I never would have guessed that they would do that automatically. I’m impressed! Cheers!
