I REALLY (I mean really) wanted to like War for Cybertron. The story, dialogue, and acting were...
Bad.
I mean the G1 cartoons were bad, but they felt... fun, somehow. This series has sucked all of the fun by making it dark, but have not provided any improvement in the acting, story or writing that I would expect from a "darker" show (that was about transforming robots that was intended to sell toys).
While I don't like beastformers in general (I don't see the point, myself), the Beast Wars cartoon was pretty decent (for a show intended to sell toys). But I don't expect that Kingdom will channel enough Beast Wars-era story to salvage the series. I'd be happy to be wrong in this case, and I'll probably still watch, but only when I run out of other things to do.
