Hasbro "Lego" Kre-O Parts formers or trans-formers?
Ok, I'm absolutely blown away by what I've seen of these Kre-o things that hasbro has come up with. Wow, Lego Transformers, that actually look amazing!!
My question is... do they actually transform without removing and attaching parts.
or do they Parts-swap to transform... ie) parts form?
If you guys could point me to a credible source to help answer the question... would be awesome! thx

They are “NOT A CONVERTING TOY”, as per the wording on the box, according to this article: http://www.fbtb.net/2011/02/16/kre-o...t-in-the-room/

They really missed the boat on this one.

Re: Hasbro "Lego" Kre-O Parts formers or trans-formers?
We have had similar concepts in the past with Built to Rule (Based on Armada and Energon characters) and Japan had their BLOKU line with Movie Prime and Bumblebee.
Both transformed, but you did have to take apart stuff and put them together. To be far there has been quite a few Transformers that work in this form of function. As early as G1 Roadbuster, as Japanese as God Bomber, as recent as RiD Ultra Magnus (God Magnus)

Re: Hasbro "Lego" Kre-O Parts formers or trans-formers?
I'm not impressed by the sets themselves, as figures. In regards to brick building i'll leave that to the professionals (Lego). However, I am looking forward to the Kreons. They have said that there bricks will work with other companies bricks. Ie: I'll beable to wage a battle between a few seekers and some SW Clones on a mega blocks flat sheet lol.
Beyond that, I will only say that I hope those pictures are the proto-type stage. As commented on other fourms they seem sloppy. As if they were hand scupled by a kid out fo clay. The comments have been harsh, but I think we all expect more from hasbro.
I personally will be not buying the sets, but perhaps will purchase a few of the minifugers on the secondary markets.
Time will tell

The one thing that confuses me about these guys is...why the hell do they have the Classics head designs? It doesn't mesh with the the bayformer designs at all...
Although, I want to get at least the little lego men that are included with these guys...those look all kinds of awesome.
