At least TRU guarantees the item is shipped in a box, and not just slapping a label on the box of the item itself.

I would have ordered them on Toys r Us if I managed to get the coupon on time, but I wasn't paying close enough attention.

You can sign up for an R card and sign up for their emails. I don't know about you, but I like to pay less for my TFs!

I'm signed up for emails, and I've re-signed up, Nd I get nothing ever, even in my spam folder. I rely on the TRU thread for everything.

the last couple (the ones I used for the ark and rodimus, along with one that I believe ran though last weekend) weren't R card specials.


Ironically I get most of the general TRU e-mails with coupons like the above, but almost never get anything related to the R card or member-exclusive discounts.


Though that might be because the R Card is mostly a waste of resources because it doesn't give the end-user anything off of it besides a one-time signup coupon and the extended price-match/return window.


It wouldn't kill them to do some kind of limited loyalty rewards thing like "get $5 off every time you spend $50" or a points-based system off the card. You're already data-mining us for free, you can afford to throw us a little bone.

I am curious to get everyone's thoughts & reviews who did end up purchasing the Ark.
