The closest thing I got to a "Transformer" x-mas gift, courtesy of my g/f's friend (she went shopping in the states)...and I think it's awesome!!

I was in the mall today and I swung by TRU. Tons of DOTM Sideswipe and not much else left, but I did found a lone RTS Perceptor (sadly it wasn't part of the 5,97 deal) and decided to grab that one Power Core Combiner team they still had left (Mudslinger and the Destructicon), mostly for the sake of having drones to see how they went.

What a waste of money...

Mudslinger is one of the worst toy I've ever own, probably the worst Transformer (the drones are okay though). I have four PCC commander (Smoulder, Heavytread, the helicopter one and Mudslinger) and only two are good(Smoulder and Heavytread) while the other two suck royally! No wonder that line crashed and burn considering...

And Perceptor... I can't transform his back/arms correctly! It's like something won't slide properly! What the heck?!

Finally got Perceptor in robot mode. There's way too many spots on this toy where cutting the piece from the sprue was totally half-baked. One of the rubbery bits that serve as his mirror was too sticking out too far under his hood and blocking the proper swivel of the tire, hence why I couldn't get him to transform properly.

Well I actually didn't pick up my rts windcharger on boxing day. My local Walmart was so disorganized it wasn't funny. I checked for the scouts at 6:10 and the only scouts they had where 5 cyberverse figures. I checked everywhere. I came back 2 full days later and there where 6-8 pegs stuffed full of scouts. I scanned them to verify the $5 price and sure enough.

So weird. I had a few people check other walmarts and they all reported the same thing.

the only non-transformer is the brave revival great might gaine perfect mode, it wasnt cheap and it has some bad chrome wear on some areas so i wasnt too particularly happy about it but anyhow onto the TF goodies:

- DOTM jetpower prime and jetfire
- 2 maketoy battle tanker
- united magazine exclusive stepper
- some catching up on perfect effect stuff: 2 commander backpacks, purple camera, sword for city commander

i will also like to note that the 2 battle tankers contains BOTH the first-run exclusive drift ancient sword bonus as well as the head fix:

That from BBTS or someone else?

Looks like the replacement head would fit easily into a padded envelope, making it cheap to distribute to those of us who already got Battle Tanker. I hope so!

i got the tankers from a local store in hong kong who just happened to have it in stock today (supply has been scarce in hongkong for the tanker). the tankers arent cheap in hong kong; higher than what tfsource offers but at least i save on shipping and i get the head replacement right away
