Opened the CT clearance toys I picked up: Cyberverse Shockwave and the Cyberverse Ark.
Shocky is worse than I expected, the Ark is better than I expected.
Shocky is a real mess in several ways. Basically his tank mode is an abomination, and I *like* his tank mode on the Voyager toy. This one doesn't peg or line up right at all and drives me nuts. When combined with the back end, it just turns into a lumpy purple brick of nonsense. In bot mode, Shocky is pretty good, but his tank thing is an abomination. He can't stand up in it in its vertical mode and in "walker" mode he does indeed look like he's f***ing the dog, as Pascal once said. That said, I improved him a good 80% with a simple mod: Pull off the large cannon from the walker back thing and snap it back on backwards. Now you have a little tank thing and with some creativity he can still combine with it and use it as a weapons platform.
The Ark is just fun. Neat ship that unfolds into a neat base. Not worth $30, but great at $15.
