Hasbro and Takara side by side Stunticon sets (very pic heavy)

I got the Takara Menasor for a little less than Canadian retail, $90 USD for the set.

I'm happy I picked up the Takara Stunticon set. They look so friggin' good in bot mode. In hand, the colors just look better than the Hasbro ones.

The plastic quality feels better as well, especially on motormaster.

Threads like this make me kinda wish I kept my CW Stunticons. Kinda.

Hasbro truly did the better job of striking a blend between G1 toys and CW. Takara edges with a black MM and a 'better' cartoon Menasor. QC, I can say Takara is no better than Hasbro (joints, paint apps, whatnot).

I see you pose Menasor with the 'straight up and down' thing going on. I kinda dig it, but I just leave him the way you see him on the box. As for the PE add-ons, there's something I really like about them...but they're just a smidge too big. Bit smaller, and I'd have a tough time not buying them. I like how you kept the original fists, and that new head looks sharp. If they see fit to change it later, I might have to bite.
