^Eh, we already got Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne to establish our shame, and I'm sure there were others before. Bieber's just carrying on the tradition, lol.

Yeah, that's probably how it always is. I just have quite a few things I haven't accomplished that I probably should have by now. No car or license, a bunch of debt and no savings, and been with my girlfriend for 8 years and still haven't put a ring on it. But once I get that student loan out of the way that's top priority.

The 30's is usually good for a man. I don't miss my 20's at all as I was broke and underemployed. Now I have a good, well paid job and live on my own in my new apt. It's not easy. After paying the monthly fixed cost like rent, hydro, phone and internet bills, transit pass, and student loan repayment, my income goes to grocery. I rarely dine out these days. I only buy toys and clothes on sales. And I am keeping my apt as simply as possible since I have no plan to move furniture when I bought my own condo. I just sleep on a futon on the floor in true Japanese Zen style!!

Yeah, I think my 30s will be okay. My job finally pays enough to cover bills and recreation so things are pretty good. And even though we're renting we have a lot of freedom in what we do with the place so we've got a pretty nice home. I just need to prepare for the future a lot more so I'm not left in the poorhouse by the time I retire. And hopefully I can send a kid or two to college...

8 years together is long time. I truly envy you.
