Prices are up $10 on Leaders @ TRU in less than a calendar year. They went up to $79.99 in December 2021. Then by February they were $84.99 according to this very thread. By Summer (July-ish) they hit $89.99.


I saw Blitzwing here today as well, and totally forgot the price went up.

They still the goto store for many parents when their young kids get invited to a birthday party.

We got a LEGO Lightyear Zurg Battle set for our younger one's birthday with a gift receipt from TRU, my wife returned it. I looked it up and TRU charging $6 more than Amazon, Indigo or Walmart, 15% more.

The economy is going into a recession so at some point folks other than us narrow group of Transformers fans have to also notice the big price difference at TRU.

I was about to joke that the price is still enough to cross the $75 free shipping threshold, but turns out they lowered it to $50? lol
