They really have become a joke with their pricing. Basically now all they are good for is exclusives, which I hate because of their pricing, and the odd clearance sales pricing (some recent stuff is pretty cheap compared to the regular market price, but still).
I just don't get how they are selling some stuff, like deluxes and 6" figures with these prices. I guess there is still enough people desperate to get a figure that they'll pay the price because of FOMO or inability to find it at other stores.
Frankly now I do a lot of purchases through the online sponsors for this site (and actionfigurenews) because their pricing is just as good as "regular' (not TRU) pricing, and I feel a bit better about supporting a local guy over the big guys. Doesn't mean I have left GS or Walmart behind, but more of my business goes to the little guys now with all things be equal.
