if the rumours are true, part of me is hoping that Platinum Games develops a sequel to Devastation to tie in to this, especially considering how well certain plot elements from Devastation could fit in with this proposed Unicron Invasion (assuming it's true and not just a false rumour).

Now this would be an interesting concept. Granted, the rumor is unsubstantiated yet, but it certainly holds some intriguing possibilities. I guess it is like anything else, it depends on how it would play out when executed.
