Yep. I just wasn't invested enough in Liokaiser to warrant paying the price.

Still they killed it, and did it with little fanfare from the TF team. I mean they didn't even do a big fan stream to reveal it, they basically just put it up and sent out a video to show it off.

Then they had it at that Con event and did a couple of small videos. However that was it and still they came out on top with the biggest Haslab backing ever. So I guess they could get lazy again with the next one.

And for those of you hoping for a surprise add-in....I wouldn't count on it. If I remember correctly they didn't have any surprise add-in for Omega Prime and that ended with over 28,000 backers. So they might have decided it isn't necessary when they keep getting these crazy high backer totals.

Don't get me wrong, I hope they do something, but I think that ship might have sailed after Omega Prime.

Well each transformers Haslab has at least doubled in value, so you really aren't losing out by backing them. I was mega on the fence about this, but I saw the value. I like Liokaiser and I knew they were never going to release these Victory characters at retail.

According to their marketing team, we're getting 7 Voyager figures. CAD retail is about $48 for a Voyager figure. That would be $336 for the 7. They're also including the nuncuka weapon and the stand. At normal retail, you're looking at around $400. So with tax and shipping, it came up to $496 CAD after the exchange rate fees for me.

I mean, it's a Haslab, so you pay a bit of a premium. The last 4 Transformers Haslabs have been designed better and have more paint etc. than anything released in regular retail. We don't have any final colored prototypes for Liokaiser, but it's safe to say that they will put just as much (or even more) effort into him. For me, I think all of that makes it worth it.

Ah good to know. Sad that I couldn't remember that and I backed Omega Prime...

Also further "drama"(?) around the numbers. Right now on Pulse the final total for Liokaiser is back down to 23,553. So 10,000 backers appeared, and now have disappeared.

Guess I'll have to give it a couple more days to see where the number finally lands.

Hey that is what I thought as well.

I'm still going to wait and see where this ends up on Monday. I think they screwed up, but it could also be some sign of further international backers needing to be added.

However by Monday I'll call it final.
