Finally a Trypticon that dwarfs Titan Metroplex

I was able to buy a junkie Titan class Trypticon (thanks to PrimeCron) so finally carried out the plan I have for a long long time --- create a Trypticon that can dwarf Metroplex and still transforms.

Stand straight, Trypticon is much taller than Metroplex.

Even bending the knees he is taller than Metroplex.

more size comparison, with my normal Trypticon.

And with MT Metroplex repaint (metropolitan).

Re: Finally a Trypticon that dwarfs Titan Metroplex

I moved the hips to belly. Remember when u first opened the package, Trypticon's legs were not connected? Basically I just remove them again from slots (very easy), drill holes and connect them through belly using metal poles. In this way, the only change part is the belly which will be covered up during other modes, nobody will noticed it.

This is pretty fantastic. Many would likely like this. I would be intrigued to see this metal rod mechanism. Where did you get said rods? Would his legs not swing super loosely? Any chance we can see the other modes?

The only change for transformation: I need to first pull out those 2 metal rods, then his legs need to be pushed back to the original slots at the side--- yeah, he is a parts-former now, but if I keep the legs in original sockets, he still works as before too.

Took some more pics, this is how I did it.

I found a metal pole about 25 cm, cut it into half.

Drilled holes using 3/16 size driller. Then just connect the legs through the belly using those 2 metal rods, very secure and you can barely see the changes.

This is right side

This is left side.

Thanks man. I guess we all dislike a Trypticon smaller than Metroplex.
