Re: New Transformers figures released at Canadian Retail

All stores probably won't be getting it (the one I worked at never got any, but they did get several other toy lines), but more often than not, it'll be in the christmas section (in an isle that's like 3/4 toys), and or in the promo section which are usually islands by the cashiers/front of the store & ends of larger isles.

Unless someone's seen them physically & can give a product number or upc (product numbers will be in the format of ##-#### & written on the price sticker), then your best bet would be to look in those areas. If you can find someone to look it up on the computer, just ask them to type in "transformers" & maybe you'll get lucky.

Assuming it comes to Quebec, I might pick up the Prime/Megs 2-pack.

Re: New Transformers figures released at Canadian Retail

The last 2 years CT has had a few Transformers for Christmas. I watch the flyer and both times the stuff ends up going on sale for a particular week in the christmas months.

First years it was the 25$ 3-pack of Battle on 3 worlds or something like that with the 3 scouts from the unicron trilogy. Last years it was the 30$ minicon 10-pack. Both went on sale for 15$ at some poitn during the holiday shopping months.

Yep, it was actually quite late in December. I was glad it was only $15, there's no way I was going to pay $30 for 10 Mini-Cons.

As for that Ultimate Battle pack, that's how much I paid years back when it came with a DVD.
(It was a $5 off sale)

I guess there were a lot of unsold packs back then that Hasbro had to re-pack it.

Yeah, that Classics 2-pack might be worth it at half that price...

That Daredevil pack was a Kmart Exclusive in the States. I can't remember who, but someone was asking if it would hit Canadian Retail.

I always wanted that 2-pack and now I'll finally have another shot at it. I really want that G2 Megatron mold.
