Re: What is your Transformers Budget?

Around $80 per month.
I buy less online (less than 5 times a year)
But I spend a lot in the conventions (tfcon, fan expo, toy show)

Re: What is your Transformers Budget?

When I got back into collecting in 2010 I spent alot every month buying everything on the shelves and was probably in the $50-100 per week on TFs. Now I have some trade fodder and am smarter about my purchases so my recent costs have only been shipping out trades (~$25-50 per month).

Re: What is your Transformers Budget?

I used to budget about $25/month, but I've since started a "subsidy jar", where anytime I sell something, the proceeds go into the jar, which in turn subsidizes my TF purchases (1/3 for 1st party items, 2/3 for 3rd party items). It works out really well for me. If I don't sell anything, I can't buy anything. My collection maintains a sense of relative equilibrium
