Re: Adult Lego Fans

Lego has a thing against depictions of alcohol in modern day situations. The only exception I can think of off the top of my head was the Valentine's seasonal set (40120 I think) and even then, that didn't have to necessarily be a booze bottle.

I personally have no interest in Lego Simpsons sets or minifigs so whatever comes next doesn't bother me but Moe's would be a good option.

Re: Adult Lego Fans

Anybody here have tried to build the UCS Millenium Falcon piece by piece through brink link? I'm thinking about it but too scared that some pieces might not be available? Any tips is much appreciated. Thanks

This is possible. I researched this a while ago. There is a site called Rebrick I think (or maybe it was Brick Link) that can tell you if it's possible to get all the parts through registered sellers. The problem is the dish and some technic parts are exclusive to that set. But that was years ago so maybe it's possible now. But to be honest, with Episode VII coming, I'm sure we're going to see a UCS Falcon reboot. With even better construction. And a square dish of course lol

I read on a couple of lego board that people have done it. It will take you a while (most I've read took 2 years) but if you like a challenge i'd say go for it.

Re: Adult Lego Fans

Thanks for the feedback Multiplex. I think I will just wait for the possible reissue. I love the challenge but just scared to be sitting on a bunch of bricks because some are not available for the falcon?

Re: Adult Lego Fans

I won't cast off this set based on that image but I don't like it so far. I'll wait until I see better images.
