Got the 3 coneheads and DONE with TF Hobby!

What a beautiful sight! All 6 of them.
I can not believe they cost me over $400. That's it, No More buying!
And I need to do penal lining for the 3 coneheads.
I did penal lining for the 3 seekers.

Finally, after over one year!!! I received the coneheads. It costs me an arm and a leg.

The design is OK, the material and quality is just getting worse. It really should be a $15 or less each figure.

With these 3 coneheads, I am done with TF Collection Hobby!!!

I am not sure about how everyone else feels. I feel that Hasbro increases the price way too much every year, and yet the material and quality of the figures decrease.

What do you think?

How much did you pay for it? I might end up paying that much. I just don't want to feel ashamed on the price.

After the kingdom and SS ‘86 stuff is done. Im probably done. Just going to cherry pick if anything exceptional comes along. Moving on to Joes or something else.

Both these Rattraps are $15 figures, give or take. One guess as to which is the newer one.

Likely the same here. The only way I can see myself still collecting entire sets is if they were to bring the Japanese characters to the NA mainlines, like JG1 or BW II/Neo. This is kind of my definitive collection, where I can get nearly all the characters in a common scale.

Having said that, watch Hasbro prevent my escape and do exactly that in the next Generations line...

Re: Got the 3 coneheads and DONE with TF Hobby!

$33 for deluxes is absurd. Not long ago, these were $16.99 and got bumped up to $19.99. Then TF AOE happened, and they started putting them in boxes instead of blister packs, and added ten bucks to the cost. Such garbage.
$45 for voyagers is absurd. And they can't even make enough to have stock on the shelves at the Walmart or Toysrus. It's a hunt to actually find anything that I would actually want to buy.
The past few toys that I have purchased at regular price just felt like I was being ripped off. The scale, sure they scale to each other in the line, but they keep shrinking in size compared to the last generation of figures.
I've said this all before though.

Sadly I'm mostly done now too, just been cherry picking the odd figure here and there. I got priced out pretty much, let alone the other problems finding stuff living in too rural an area.

I haven't done, but very picky in what I want.

The TFs price increased so much that a lot things compare to transformers feel cheap now. I remember 10 years ago Delux class on-sale was around $10.

Now I can get a latest PS4 game similar as Leader class price and play hundreds of hours.

Once my preorder for Galvatron and Rodimus Prime arrive, I think i'm getting out as well. Been collecting since '85. Getting way too expensive to buy and too stressful to track figures down.
