Re: Calgary Flood.
I have some friends in Calgary, they were fine all day, but have just been told their building is under an "optional evacuation" meaning they could lose power, or have to evacuate, on short notice.
Hope all of you are doing well.

Re: Calgary Flood.
I can't imagine what chaos Vancouver/BC will be when an earthquake and tsunami hit the west coast. The city of Vancouver is oven run by hippies and hipsters, and the surrounding cities are all for themselves. Infrastructures are all bloody old and even the new ones breakdown all the time. What are we gonna do?

Re: Calgary Flood.
Wish you guys all the best. Hope you and your loved ones stay safe.
I have a very close family friend (pretty much my wifes unrelated sister) named Danielle that just had her first child last month. I just heard that she had to evacuate with her husband and baby because the flooding was less than 2 blocks away. How scary us that, just have birth and Now she has to flee with her newborn. That's not something you expect to do shortly after giving birth. Plus her and her fiance just bought the house In January. You feel helpless all the way on Ontario when soneone you care about is in trouble.

Re: Calgary Flood.
Hope you guys in Calgary are all safe and sound! Looking at the newsreels you would think they were broadcasting videos from a monsoon drenched city in Asia or something.

Re: Calgary Flood.
Any boardies that I know irl seem to be safe so far, and as far as I have heard haven't been evacuated or suffered any damage.
Just an FYI to anyone attending/working at Sait, the campus will be closed monday and tuesday, but is hoping to be open as of wednesday again.
