The Hasbro version also has painted lights on the cab opposed to the Takara version. And we'll be lucky to get this at $100, especially with the trailer and accessories !!!

Painted eyes on the Hasbro version. Not that it really matters, since there's no light piping anyway.

Shame it includes the trailer... I was hoping for a cheaper MP... but I'll be getting it anyway.

Prime without a trailer would just be a stupid mistake, it would be another Rodimus ...Sorry I mean Hot Rod..... gladly pay extra for the trailer and if they are around the 100.00 mark will pick up at least 2 so I can have one in bot mode.

I only meant "shame" because of the increased price point. It's great news for those who want the whole shebang.

Growing up watching the G1 cartoon I always hated the "disappearing trailer" transformation of Optimus. I never owned the G1 Optimus toy so I have no affection for the trailer either.

I display my TFs in robot mode (otherwise they look like big Hot Wheels to me) and the trailer and other accessories means extra money out the window for nothing. It will most likely stay in the box while Optimus stands on my shelf.

I'll probably end up being happy to have the trailer... and even happier if I get it on sale. I've been looking forward to my first G1 Optimus for a very long time.
