Both Ark and Rodimus dates holding on 'arriving Wednesday but as always my expectations for amazon are exceedingly low.

I don't understand why some people just didn't pre-order the Ark or Rodimus Prime from Toys R Us, especially when they had a coupon you could have applied for the preorders. I really see no point in ordering from Amazon, you can't price adjust, returns are iffy, and delivering your item is risky, with little/no packing.

At least TRU guarantees the item is shipped in a box, and not just slapping a label on the box of the item itself.

And you don't have to worry about halton hills facility thieves stealing your figures and saying you refused delivery.

Of course I do, I'm not mad! Amazon was projected first so obviously it has my attention...unfortunately my backup is Walmart but better than nothing.

Walmart is equally unreliable (at least for me they have been). I preordered at EB Games and I've never missed a preorder from them.

you got a butt load of people ordering a butt load of the same products from multiple retailers : youre bound to get a bad experience or two reported for each of those retailers

Sure dude, neither are fantastic but I nabbed a preorder at the two places where I could at the time. We're all kind of in the same boat here.

Yeah, this is the big thing for me. Lots of people are swearing off amazon but in like 4 years of buying pretty regularly off of them both for Transformers and other stuff I think I've only ever had 2 orders end up lost/undelivered (1 was a package that included a Transformer that did go through Halton Hills and vanished. The other was a book that I have suspicions was on a truck that ended up in a wreck after it went off a snowy road somewhere in the BC interior a couple years ago.)


Meanwhile lots of people swear by EB but I have had so many shit experiences with them (non-Transformers related) that I make a point of never buying anything from them anymore if I can help it. That's just the way it goes.



I double-ordered the Ark not because of concern over unfulfilled order potential, but because I had it ordered from Amazon, then got the TRU coupon so I could save like $30 and I decided just to keep the Amazon order for now in case something happens with TRU (which is a known possibility).


I didn't double-order Rodimus Prime becuase I only got it to begin with because of a different TRU coupon. If something happens to that one I'm not going to be super broken up about it because I never intended to pay full price.
