Shadow Commander question...

Tried to contact automaton toys about this figure because I'm not sure if its the Fansproject one or a KO version.

It's my first time ordering from here. Do they sell KO stuff? or strictly the 'real' third party stuff even though KO is technically third party lol. Do you guys think it's the FP version? its 130+ so i'd like it to be the FP version!

hmmmm yeh its interesting they don't mention fansproject anywhere in the item but I don't recall them ever selling KO figures.

considering they and tfsource got it at the same time after it didn't sell out at bbts, it's probably legit.

I hsve to agree with you on that. I bought mine off UltraMarknus, which he told me he got it off bbts for 130 and I asked him if it was FP or the KO.

He told me it was real and I stumble on a forum on TFW2005 about the SC FP and KO comparsions well I was searching for the City Commander comparsions (Still have doubts about my City Commander). Mine Shadow Commander is deffinitly real, although did not have any doubts from Ultra Marknus.

Basically if you do buy it, once you receive it, look for screws holes. That means its real.

However I do hear the KO Shadow Commander is actually pretty well done.

the real one comes with interchangeable faceplate the ko does not same packaging same contents basically but no face-plate with the ko ko LOL now I bought both of them and mistakenly gave my real interchangeable face plate with the ko that never came with one!

didnt know that about the faceplate. I think the original faceplate on Shadow is better imo. I still have my mouth faceplate...somewhere.

for $130 I would hope it is the real deall, I got the KO version on ebay for $40

I'm 99% sure Automaton doesn't deal in KO's.

They got back to me and confirmed that it is indeed the FansProject one. Also mentioned that it has been changed on the website so it should specify that it's FP.

I think they are in Quebec so if I order to Ontario, I just need to pay the tax for Ontario + Shipping + Figure price right? Any other hidden fees I should be aware of?

don't qoute me on it but I am sure he only deals with pay pal customers so you would have the pay pal charges as well.
