Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

I'm loving my Xperia ZL. Has and does everything I need or want and then some. Plus it looks classy too.

Hehe, that pretty much sums it up for me too. Finding a good case for it though was little more fun.

I haven't got a case but I made sure to get a good screen protector. Haven't dropped it yet and hopefully I won't!

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

Speaking of retro toys, anyone remember Pocket Power? I remember always wanting them really bad as a kid but I was never lucky enough to have them. The helicopter was the coolest one to me, or maybe it was the only one I knew about. I'm 100% certain these are the reason I'm so in love with tiny, portable-yet-functional toys.

One day we'll get to the point where actual RC helicopters can fit in your pocket like this. I have an Air Hogs 'Pocket Copter', but the case is actually pretty huge and you'd have to be wearing cargo pants to actually fit it in your pocket. Still, nice try on Air Hogs' part, and I still fly it from time to time.

Did anyone have these Pocket Power toys as a kid? Anyone still have them? Maybe I'll get lucky and find some at Retro and Relevant.

I had the Uzi as a kid! Lost the bb's within a day rendering the gun usless. Still, I carried that mini Uzi around everywhere pretending I was a Secret Agent. Ahhh...good times!

Apparently the BBs are pretty much the same as airsoft pellets! Too bad you don't still have it, you could be all covert ops again.

I eventually broke the Uzi and graduated to a Walther PPK cap gun that was perfect for concealed carry missions to McDonald's with my parents.

Gotta love the 80's and how toy makers didn't give a shit about kids running around with realistic-looking toy guns.
